Description

The 3300/48 Case Expansion Monitor utilizes two DC Linear Variable Differential Transformers (LVDTs) to measure casing growth in relation to the machine foundation. The monitor calculates the differential between the two transducers and provides two adjustable alarm setpoints for the measurement. There are two possible display modes: independent case expansion for each channel or the differential measurement between the two channels. Alarms are only available in the differential measurement mode.
