Description 3300/03 System Monitor

The System Monitor performs four critical tasks in a 3300 monitor rack:

• Common Functions for All Monitors:
  • Alarm setpoint adjustment
  • Keyphasor® power, termination, conditioning, and distribution
  • Alarm acknowledgement
• External Communication:
  • Connects all installed monitors to an external communications processor via STATIC and DYNAMIC data ports.
• Optional Serial Data Interface (SDI):
  • Enables communication of transducer and monitor data to process computers, DCS, PLCs, and other automation systems.
• Optional Dynamic Data Interface (DDI):
  • Allows transducer and monitor data transmission to Bently Nevada machinery management software.
  • May eliminate the need for an external communications processor depending on data requirements.
