EPRO CON041-CN+PR6423/000-031 is a non-contact displacement sensor that is used to measure the static and dynamic shaft displacement. It is a combination of a PR6423 eddy current sensor and a CON041 converter. The PR6423 sensor is an 8mm eddy current sensor that works by generating an alternating current in the sensor tip, which creates an eddy current in the material being measured. The thickness of the material is determined by the depth of penetration of the eddy current.
