Emerson Ovation 1C/5X

Emerson Ovation 1C/5X is a distributed control hardware family used primarily in power generation, water and large process facilities. The architecture combines controllers, I/O modules, communication interfaces, power components and termination hardware within the Ovation DCS environment. 1C and 5X module families provide analog, digital, sequence, communication and controller functions for cabinet-based process control systems. Ovation components acquire plant signals, execute control and sequencing logic, drive field outputs and exchange operational data with operator, engineering and historian layers of the control system. This collection groups components from the same technical family for engineering reference, maintenance planning, system expansion, and replacement of installed equipment. Models are organized by system role so users can distinguish controllers, I/O, communication, power, interface, sensing, and termination hardware without mixing unrelated automation platforms.
