About Dragon Boat Festival

The Dragon Boat Festival (端午节) is a traditional Chinese festival celebrated on the 5th day of the 5th lunar month. It is known for dragon boat races, eating zongzi (sticky rice dumplings), and commemorating Qu Yuan, a famous poet and patriot from ancient China. Families gather to enjoy festive activities, preserve traditions, and wish for health and prosperity.
