Honeywell Smart Manufacturing and Low-Carbon Innovation

Shanghai, November 5, 2025 — Global technology leader Honeywell (NASDAQ: HON) returned to the China International Import Expo (CIIE) for the eighth consecutive year, unveiling eight new products and more than 100 innovative solutions under the theme “Intelligent Manufacturing Without Boundaries, Exploring a Carbon-Neutral Future.” The company also released a lean operations white paper and signed 26 strategic cooperation agreements, strengthening its role in China’s smart and sustainable development.

Eight New Products for Five Key Industries

Honeywell introduced eight new products across semiconductors, industrial combustion, automation, smart buildings, and battery safety.

  • Semiconductors: New control solutions enhance wafer precision and yield.

  • Combustion: The ThermJet-pro low-NOx burner debuts in China, combining efficiency with lower emissions.

  • Automation: The CCC Inside system integrated with Experion® PKS delivers full lifecycle equipment control.

  • Battery Safety: A new thermal runaway sensor provides early warnings for battery safety.

  • Smart Buildings: The latest Optimizer controllers improve energy and operational efficiency.

Lean Operations and Local Collaboration

Honeywell also launched a white paper with Zhejiang Jinhua New Materials and ShanghaiTech University titled “The Power of Transformation.” The study highlights the local application of the Honeywell Excellence System (HES), showing how lean management and continuous improvement drive productivity and quality.

Showcasing Smart and Sustainable Innovation

Honeywell’s booth featured three themed zones — Automation, Sustainability, and Future Aviation — displaying key technologies such as:

  • Smart automation systems for industrial and building applications;

  • UpCycle plastics recycling and digital refinery solutions supporting the circular economy;

  • Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) made from waste oils, cutting emissions by up to 80%.

Strengthening Partnerships for Growth

During the expo, Honeywell signed 26 cooperation agreements across sectors including manufacturing, energy, transportation, and retail, focusing on smart factories, green energy, and intelligent control systems. These collaborations reinforce Honeywell’s long-term commitment to China’s industrial modernization.

Since opening its first office in Shanghai in 1935, Honeywell has grown with China’s industrial progress. At this year’s CIIE, a special display marked its 90-year journey, reflecting how the company integrates global expertise with local innovation to drive sustainable growth.
